Light bleeding day after positive pregnancy test. Graphic images!

Hello everyone,
So two days ago i took a test and got a faint positive. Then one day took another with a darker positive and digi test said 1-2 weeks. Today i retested and had a deep positive line.
Today was the day I was due to start my period. I was feeling positive as no AF all day and then at 10.30pm i went for a wee and when i wiped noticed some spots of blood (very light red). Then I inserted a tampon gently about 3/4 up and there was spotting on one side of the tampon (again light red).
I am not having any pain or cramps but I am really worried I am miscarrying. My husband has been researching and found that it may be implantation bleeding (but I am day 14 past ovulation), and could be a type of period where shedding occurs but no egg.
Has anyone experienced this before? I am so worried.

I know alot of people who have bled hun and baby has been fine. I know alot who have bled it was a form of implantation just baby getting abit more snug after already implanting

Firstly please don't insert a tampon hun, have you got any sanitary towels? They would be better for you at the time
I bled during both of my pregnancies... First one untill 18 weeks and second untill 16 weeks. Both are here driving me insane as we speak!
It could be a bleed due to your period being due, it could be from implantation or it could be from an irritated cervix.
Have you had sex recently? That always sets my cervix off when I'm pregnant.
I hope it's just a little normal pregnancy spotting for you, please keep us updated and Fx for a nice strong bean in there.

I only inserted a tampon to see if there was any more blood, I didn't leave it in, but is that still bad? Why is it I shouldn't do that please?
I have woken up this morning (wore a pad last night) and pad is clean. Nothing when wiping either. So that is a good sign right? As there was only a few drops? Thank you so much to you both for replyong. X

It does read like it was just a bit of implantation bleeding, which is totally normal, so I think you will be ok

As for the whole tampom situation, I don't know the whole medical insides and out of it, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be poking anything up there just yet

It can cause infection and because there isn't much blood up there and everything is changing it could stick to the cervix and maybe irritate it. (scientifically I have no idea why) but I don't think it's a good idea. If you really need to feel (I woulsnt) but I'd wash your hands well, make sure nails are short and feel that way.

If it's clean then it sounds like it could just be some innocent pregnancy bleeding.
Just keep an eye on it hun
