Light at the end of the tunnel

So after 2 years of trying, one miscarriage and numerous tests, we have finally received our consultation appointment to start IUI on the 12th December. All being well we can start treatment the following month so I’m praying 2018 will be our year.

Has anyone been to the consultation and if so what does it entail? My partner suffers with anxiety so he’d like to prepare himself as best as possible.

I don't have any experience with IUI but I wanted to wish you well with your appointment. Perhaps prepare a list of questions beforehand so you don't forget anything on the day?

Thank you. Yes I think I will have a lot of questions to ask, so writing them down is a good answer. We’ve come to terms with the fact we need help trying to conceive so hopefully this will do the trick x

We've also reached a point where we've now accepted that this isn't going to happen so hopefully will have our appointment sorted by January.
