I had to share this with you all, its such an unusual recipe that I got from a friend when I lived in Australia. I love making them even thought they freak me out as I always think Ive got it wrong! All I can say is dont worry if the mix seems way too loose, you can add a little more flour if its very wet but its fine really..go with me on this!

You will need:

4 heaped cups of Self Raising flour
300mls Lemonade
300mls Whipping Cream (unwhipped!)

Add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix together, turn out onto a floured surface and dust the top with flour. Pat down gently and cut to size, bake at 180 degrees for around 10-15 mins depending on fan etc.

Its a weird recipe, not very sweet so you can get away with more jam! :)

They are delicious when they are very fresh, they dont keep that long though so good excuse to scoff the lot! :)

wow that sounds really easy!! Im gonna give it a try, just got to get some cream in. Thanks!

Just dont freak out at how wet the mix is..it does work I swear; just pat the dough gently down on a floured surface and dust the top with flour then cut - let me know how you go with this eh? xx

Will do....I love experimenting with different stuff so if they turn out I will pass the recipe onto my brother whos a chef and he will make them at his hotel....he makes my choc and guiness cakes all the time now lol! Did you make them? xxxx
