Leaky Breast (Sorry TMI!)

Hi Girlies

Has anyone else experienced this yet? the last 2 night my right breast (which is larger) has been leaking in bed first night not to bad, last night my arm and sheet were soaked!! Is this normal??? i remember having this really later on 35+ weeks with my first son!

This now means im going to start having to wear breasts pads in bed - GREAT!!

Mine have been pretty leaky for a while now but they seem to be gettin worse at the moment. I wake up with massive round patches on my PJ's or on the bed- it freaks OH out a lot which is very funny. I've found that it's worse if I lie on my side and squash my boob in a funny way- waterwork here we come

I dread to think what it'll be like when the milk comes in

Mine have stopped leaking spontaniously tbh.
They were leaving penny sized wet patched all over my PJ's but i havnt noticed them for a while

Like Alex said i think leaky boobs is totally normal, even a large amount, just depends on your boobs and stuff. Bit of a pain though i'm sure, and a possible mood killer

Mine don't leak, but if i give the old nips a tweak then i produce some colostrum - had that from about 26 weeks.

Mine leaked from 16 weeks and are still leaking now (and i'm not breastfeeding) its a nightmare and my nips ache!

mines leak during the night little bits, doesn't soak me or anything though

my friend who's due the same day as me though - her's are the same as yours, she soaks right through breast pads all the way!!!

Yep mine leak a little bit but not as much as you're leaking but it all sounds normal to me if its not your first baby and even if it was it could still be very possible. Stick those pads on hehe, wait until your 32/34 weeks and then you could even start collecting it and freezing it as breast milk can be stored in the freezer for 3 months but check this out as it's been a long time since i've had to store and it may well have changed.

Whats funny is, i had leaky boobs for days, couple of weeks ago, but its stopped, but your definitly right about them leaking more, when your lying on them

Mine have been doing it for weeks.

Some nights nothing and others quite a bit. I'll get up for the loo, and curl back in today and scare myself with a cold wet patch and get confused as to whether I just got up for a pee or not!! But ahh, tis just my boobs!!
