When you found out you were pregnant, and you calculated your dates from last AF etc, were you're dates the same as what were given to you at your dating scan? If not when did your LO arrive, nearer your own estimate or as per scan?

Just wondering as i had worked out i would be due around the 13th December, so just wondering!!

both times my dating scan was dead on correct

We worked out that from the day of my last period baby would be due 24th Nov. But when we went for the scan they said it would be due 20th Nov. But thats only a few days apart, not a big difference.

When I was pregnant with zack the day of my last period date anxd the scan date were bang on. But he was 2 weeks overdue

I dont trust the growth scans anyway because every baby is different. They cant tell when the babys going to come just from the size. (well thats what I think anyway)

My EDD was the 2nd August, the dating scan put the due date as the 31st July but LO finally turned up on the 7th August. The midwife said that due to the amount the placenta had broken down by that the 31st was the more accurate due date.

LMP was 2/2/06 which would make EDD 2/11/06 but I had a early scan at 7 weeks and that put my EDD 15/11/06 which would be about right as I believe we conceived between 13-15/02/06. And look at me now, nice and overdue lol

with my first my dating scan was wrong, they gave me 2nd december first of all, then when i went for a growth scan at 30 weeks they changed it to the 18th november, and i had her the day i was due to be induced 27th november

I didn't know when my last period was, so it was guessed that my EDD was around 14th September.

My 21 week scan gave the estimated date as being 7th September, so that was the one we went with.

My little one actually arrived on 25th September.

I was due on the 6th september by LMP and by scan they put me at the 5th so no difference really. Little monkey didn't arrive till the 20th.

With first baby they gave me 5th June which were my AF dates, Jamie arrived 16th June. With Rachael my AF dates were 11th September, dating scan gave me 18th Sept, which is when she arrived. With this one my dates were 25th april, dating scan 2nd may. Its because i ovulate a week late on day 21.

HAHA Vicki - clutching at straws...... I was thinking the same thing!

I think I know when I concieved....... and according to my dates I am a week ahead of the dates the hospital have given me..... added to that my bump has always measured 1 week biger than it should have done....... but midwife has said the scans are very accurate and its just me wishing the baby out before Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!

My date was one day before my dating scan's lol. Thea came four days late.
