Hi everyone! Just got this text from Kelsey:
Sunday, March 11th
0530 p.m: "my signal in the hospital is crap so can't do my own thread. Been here since 10 a.m and still not seen a doctor. Apparantly she came to see me but none of the mw heard the doorbell so as an apology they Are inducing me tonight - yey. I'm about to go on the montior although I Think I'm having a few mild tightenings already. Will keep you updated!!"
0700 p.m: "Tablet just been inserted cervix facing back but 2cm dilated xx"
Monday, March 12th
0222 a.m: "Contracting every 7 minutes or so for about a min just had a bath and paracetamoal. Lost some plug ewww is all I can say it was disgusting. Things are looking good. xx"
0300 p.m: "Baby Alex was born at 11:58 by emergency c section. She's had a ferd and has a good set of lungs on her. xx"
0900 p.m: Kelsey says thank you all for the support, she has read but can't reply. Some details: "Got to 9 cm and was starting to push but she was back to back and wouldn't turn her heart rate dropped and when they took blood from her head she was lacking oxygen. So decided section was best option because pushing wasn't getting anywhere. We Are both brilliant now though, she has fed 3 times, 2nd two with help latching and she has done her first poo. Took the 2 of us 10 minutes to work out how to change her but we did. She is perfect, can't stop looking at her. xx"
Will update first post when she texts me!!!
