Kicks

This will sound like a really stupid question but how do you know when baby has kicked you? I don't think I've felt it yet and I'm so desperate to feel it! I have little pokes and prods that sometimes make me jump and baby is wriggling all the time but I haven't felt that kick yet!
Could anyone tell me what it feels like? Thankyou and sorry to be so thick! lol

I sort of know what you mean here i cant diferentiate between a hand or a leg giving me a good prod, just tend to call it kicking whenever i feel activity from babs, but im getting to the stage where i can tell the difference between them just moving around, and then giving me a random kick !
Not sure if thats what you meant, or if your just asking what it feels like when baby moves, but by the sounds the wrigglings that, soo lol

hmmm its difficult to describe

my baby does a quick *kick* or punch to one spot and I feel it like a fast pressure which comes and then disappears in an instant.

In the last couple of weeks I've seen my belly move when she does it.

silly thing to say I know but it feels just like the baby has kicked!! It's a really hard thing to describe.

The only way I can say is that it feels a bit like a bubble popping inside.

There's a difference between kicking and moving though and I'm starting to be able to tell the differnce with that.

I think it feels like you are being flicked from inside, if that makes sense

If I am lying on my back and stare at my tummy I can see it move when the baby is active. We have had lots of giggles watching that...it only started happening since about 10 days ago.

Kicks feel like someone is opening a can of bubbles from inside..they come and touch your insides and you go oooo..felt that...they will eventually get a little clearer and now I can feel the actual movement, kicking/punching etc. They are still very soft. Cushioned.

The poes and prods you have felt are more than likely kicks!
I was going to say like someone poking you from inside lol

thankyou girls. sounds like i might have felt it then! i think i imagined it to be like when someone kicks you really hard but then again babies aren't that strong lol
