My rrrrrrrrrrrrr and fffffffffffff are really stiff to type then when they do type its lots grrrr
any1 got an idea to make it go away lol :evil:
 
Take the keys out and clean the keyboard...

Or use the tube attachment on your hoover to hoover out all the crap and dust that gets inbetween the keys, probably best to turn pc off first though!

tried that a while ago and like erm i lost a key :o

Just checked with OH who is a techie and he reckons compressed air is the best thing, anything else can damage your key board.

This can make a static spark from your vacuum to your keyboard and it can ruin your PC.


Sonia, have you got a laptop by any chance? A dell?
 
yea i do hav a laptop but this is a desktop.
I just sorted it girlies

and flicked off the ones in bad truble lol

and then i hooverd em out :oops: then read about rueinin ur pc

well its ok for now haha xx
 
Ok i wouldnt of advised taking keys off your laptop lol I thought you meant a seperate keyboard..but at least its working now :D

You can take keys off a laptop too, they are attached to like springy things.

The reason I asked about a laptop is cos Dell Latitudes all have this problem, I've had 2, they both went that way and I looked online and apparently it's a big design problem with them, you can't fix it :?

Yeah you can but I know a few cases where people have done this and ended up breaking a few of the springs and the small mounts (snapping) so had to leave the whole keyboard to be repaired, cant just get a new laptop keyboard ;).
