Just tried giving LO first EBM

LO is 6 weeks old thought I would try and give him his first bottle of breastmilk tonight. I had expressed 5oz into TT bottle went to give him it he seemed to take 2oz really quickly then it all started coming out of his mouth and he got really upset

Hun, which bottle/teat have you been using? My lo wasnt even ok with nubmer 1 teats in the beginning, I think our milk might come slower

I was told to use size 2 ill go back to size 1 and see if that helps. Thanks xx

Oh no, dont use size 2, who told you that? Breastfed babies dont go more than size 2 and thats not until later on. He probably gulped air and it all came back

^^WSS C is nearly 6 months and only moved to size twos at 5 months x

Did it start coming out of his mouth while u were feeding?
Some times this happens to my little man and its when he puts his tongue at the top of his mouth so the bottle is under his tongue. We have to let him cry for his bottle so the bottle sits at the top of his tongue x
