Today I removed the nipple shields and Harry latched on twice. Hope this is the start :pompom: xxxx
 
That's brill, keep trying without - sometime they just suddenly get it - took G till 4 months, but it seemed to happen all at once. Xx

Definitely a good start! Have you tried biological nursing? It really helped us in the early days as C would latch on without me flapping around. I nurse like this at home on a regular basis. X


 
If you lie back at a slight angle and let LO root around by himself. It's also know as biological nursing. Google has some good pics xx


 
I've done this, it's great to watch. Baby will naturally move about and move their head to find the nipple then latch on, it's brilliant x

B did this as his first feed - amazing! I had to support his feet but he wriggled all over me till he got himself comfy. My husband was in awe!
