we are 4/5 engaged also, we also dont wanna see the midwife at our 40 week appointment without LO but its looking more and more likely that we will run over our due date. Really want him out now, but what can you do, you just have to wait. Tried Rasberry leaf tea for the last week and lots of pineapple. Pls come soon matthew!!

Heres hoping that they get a wriggle on for you next week just take your bags and refuse to move!!!

Great news that LO is 4/5 engaged mines only 1/5 engaged but this could all change and with 2nd and subsequent babies they can keep popping in and out! It must be true at one point they had him 3/5 engaged! They told me not to worry and they would review the situation the morning of inducement.

I was 4/5 engaged 2 weeks ago when saw my MW and i just assumed i counted down to 1/5 lol so am i better off being 4/5 ?? does that make any sense.. prob not lol

Not a problem hun there is so many of us to keep up with!

Its only a matter of days that i will actually be induced before DD, but they dont want me to go over 40 wks (and neither do I its been my nightmare!!)

There have been a few factors that have led to them letting me have an induction ( I would love to do it naturally but Ive just had enough so for me induction is light at the end of the tunnel) as this was one hell of a shock pregnancy (Hubby had a vasectomy 6 months before BFP) which has effected my mental health to say the least in the early days, I am predicted an 11 Lber, after a 5Lb 11oz baby, so they are conserned I have freaky growing patterns (I take that one with a pinch of salt) and I have dizzy spells and black outs constantly so much so Im practically house bound and not allowed to go out alone- thats the big one, but its been such a crappy pregnancy (add in MS so bad I was hospitalised for starvation after not eating for literally weeks) I think they are taking pity on me!!

I think i would be wanting it all over in your shoes
I really hope things get moving along for you hun

Vicky its a count down your after with engagement so 4/5 is just engaging (just after brim) then 3,2,1 are all getting better. If its your first baby, engagement is great as your body is checking out the head for size, if its any baby after as Kathy and Lea say they can either not bother with the engage stage until birth or tease you popping in and out!!

Cheers!! I had a few glitches with feeding and trying to get her to sleep longer than 40 minutes We seem to be getting somewhere xx
