Was worse than i remember :( Midwife couldnt find my vein for my bloods yet again so i was sent off to the blood testing part to have it done. Managed to get that done and still felt fine.

But then the anti D was seriously worse than i remember and fecking hurt... then i nearly fainted and she had to get me a glass of water  .

Other than that the appointment went well tho, my blood pressure is still fine, but now ive got to how every 2 weeks to keep an eye on it (it went up with my pregnancy with jack).

Im measuring 29 weeks but apparently its ALL baby :?

and i heard his lil heartbeat too :)

Aww congrats on hearing his heartbeat :cheer:

I have no idea how I've managed to give so much blood and not faint - I am very squeamish at such things. I bet if I had to have the anti-D injections I would be fainting too!

Hope your blood pressure stays nice and low for you :D

 haha sorry i remember telling you that it wasnt too bad.. my memory must have wiped out how bad it was before lol. if it helps i was fine after having a glass of water

Heehee  Don't worry, I'm just a big wuss when it comes to needles and things. I know it only lasts a matter of seconds to have a jab but the whole idea makes me squirm! I've been very brave so far with the bloods I've had taken but I'd never be able to go on my own to have it done! I need someone to hold my hand :shhh:

I'm sure I'll manage. I am probably the worst person to have a baby ever - I'm a big wimp!

The second dose of anti-d is 3 times more than the first dose. It does hurt but once the needle is out the pain just goes away. That is my favourite part!

Just in case anyone is reading this and freaking out about the prospect of receiving Anti_D (as i was before my first shot)...it is a bit sore (they put it in my butt cheek, lol) but it is ok. i am terrified of needles to the point of requiring sedation for dental treatment, but i managed ok. as it is in your ass, you dont see what is happening.

Afterwards, i found it a little uncomfortable to sit down, but nothing worse than a little bruise.

I have had no other side effects with it either time.
