I am so relieved, got my angel sounds yesterday and couldn't find anything last night. Although I told myself I wouldn't panic I couldn't help wondering have I made this all up in some mad way? But I tried this morning, had my daughter beside me who also had a listen. It was very fast so I kne it wasn't mine! I am so happy now, only have to wait until Monday 2nd Feb for my scan so I will relax a bit now. Anyway, just thought I'd tell you all...
Just found the heartbeat this morning!

Yeah I know and I told mysellf I would wait too but now I have found it I am glad. I found mine was very low down just above the lady bits, so when you give it a go consider this. And my daughter was so chuffed to be the first one to hear it (oh is at work). I know that you shouldn't worry if you don't find anything at first though. Easier said than done 
YAY glad you found it. It's so much faster than your own HB and unmistakable isnt it! My HB makes a wooshing sound and if I am lying still I see my body move a little when my heart beats so I know it's mine but baby's is like....dumdumdumdumdumdum really quickly 
Mine's got a display window to say how fast too so I know when it's the baby! Found it first time today, yesterday I found it quite a bit but it took ages and lots of prodding! Your really lucky to have heard baby this early they say 10 weeks but for only a small %age of people I reckon!

Yeah you're right, it is so much quicker than your own and unmistakeable. I lay flat on my back with my head on a pillow and could see my belly move with my own heartbeat so I knew what was mine and what was the baby's, iykwim. I was surprised that I found it this early, it took a while though and a lot of persistance. When I work out how to record it I will post it on here. Sounds just like a train, feels more real to me now. I have done 8 tests so far and did not really believe I was preggers until I heard the heartbeat today, daft or what?
