So I read that having no morning sickness suggests you are having a boy.

So just for fun I thought people could say if they had morning sickness and if they are expecting or had a boy/girl.

I am only 12 weeks and have had no sickness so will have to update when I know.

Not personally my experience but my SIL has a newborn that is 4 weeks old. He is a boy and she had really bad morning sickness up until about 14 weeks so wouldn’t say that was very true xx

I had no sickness whatsoever (was barely even nauseous) and I had a boy. I always expected to have sickness as I get really bad travel sickness and stuff like that. I had an extremely good pregnancy so I'm not sure it would have mattered what gender I was carrying!! I've known people have bad sickness with boys and no sickness with girls.

Had really bad all day nausea and vomiting from around 7 weeks to around 20 weeks, still throw up a few times a week now at 32 weeks and still have food aversions, I’m having a girl x

With my boy I had really bad sickness throughout my pregnancy

With my girl I was nauseous but only sick once after a greasy meal

I was much sicker with my little boy than I have been with this pregnancy which is a girl! Xx

Love reading all the replies. I know it’s just an old wives tale but it’s still interesting to see what people have to say.

I had no morning sickness at all and am having a boy.

Hi Winter Wolf. I was just thinking about you. Glad to see your okay and had your baby

Oh how sweet of you! Yes I had my baby Winter nearly 6 weeks ago now. I still update my pregnancy journal weekly so you can read my birth story and first few weeks with a newborn there if you’re wondering what I’ve been up to. :)

I'm having a boy and had horrible morning sickness and got a diagnosis of HG. It lasted from 5 or 6 weeks with the first slight aversion to egg. I'm 22 weeks now and while it got much better after 16 weeks I still occasionally throw up or retch at certain smells or when I brush my teeth. I also know what just isn't worth trying to eat or drink.

I had horrific sickness, when we were on our honeymoon in Greece (I was 11 weeks) our cab driver told us I was having a boy as his wife had 4 children and was only sick like I was with the boy. He was right!

My morning sickness was worse with my daughter than my son. Sickness hasnt been too bad this time and im predicting a boy;-)

Three girls. Nausea with my two girls, this pregnancy had none at all so thought that might mean boy but it’s anotjer girl :) my friend at work was vomiting every day at least every of her pregnancy and she had a boy. Xx

1st baby - light morning sickness for the first few weeks after BFP. Disappeared before 12weeks. Had a boy.

2nd baby - horrific sickness. Couldn't keep anything down for long, lost weight in first 12wks. Disappeared by 26wks, came back at 32wks! Had a boy.

3rd baby - sparodic sickness from about 11wks. Usually sick once every day/every other day. Sickness disappeared at 18wks. I'm now 26wks pregnant and have been sick the last couple of days. I think triggered by too much milk in my coffee, and scoffing too much party food lol. This baby is a girl.
