Just can't stand it anymore!!

Hi all,

I just want a moan.

I can not stand the pain anymore!! Last night I started getting contractions again, it went on for 2 hours - thats all - and they were 7 mins apart. But the pain is unbearable!

They just started out the blue with an almighty pain, and it just takes my breath away and makes tears pour out of my eyes! It completely immobilises me and I can't move when its happening.

I'm sure somethings not right. Maybe I am just paranoid.

My bump has dropped loads and now looks like a beer belly, but it is so hard and aches all the time, I can hardley walk. I am absolutely shattered all of the time and when I'm not crying from pain, I'm crying from feeling fed up.

I have an appointment tomorrow with a consultant, so wish me luck.
It was originally supposed to be to sort out a c section, but I am hoping he will be able to shed some light on what is happening.

I dont think I can stand much more of this.

Oh hun, sorry to hear the pains haven't got any better.
Make sure you tell consultant everything and i hope they have some explanation for you so you don't worry.



Make sure you post afterwards so we know u and LO are ok

aww piglet. You poor thing, you sound like you're in agony!! Can't imagine feeling that pain and not rushing to the maternity dept. like the paranoid freak that I am.

If you are really concerned, just give them a phone and go down. Better to be safe than sorry.. they will be used to people worry over things anyway! And yours doesn't sound like just nothing!!

Get down there now... and I hope things ease up for you lovey

Sorry your suffering so much. I have been getting painful braxton hicks every day for the past few days and I find them horrible so I can't imagine what real contractions feel like so here have lots of hugs from me
It will all be over soon

Thanks guys, I will be on here tomorrow to let you know what he says - my appointment is at 11am.

To make matters worse, I have fallen out with OH. Big time. We always argue, but now he said he can't cope with a baby and the responsibility and I havn't heard of him since Friday.

Things just get better and better.

Oh you poor poor thing!! How the hell can he just decide that when it suits him!!

Men are such prats aren't they!! Tell him to bugger off then, he ain't worth the worry at the moment! He should be by your side supporting you, not just walking off when it pleases him!

Piglet hugs for you, im not going to pretend that i know how shit you feel, though i can imagine wuite a lot at the moment.

Im sorry your having problems again with your pregnancy and your oh being a grade A prat as well cannot be helping when he should be supporting you both. Its bad enough having a baby without the added stress of complications too.

I hope you get some answers at the consultants today and they can shed some proper light in what is making you contract early.

When you speak to your oh as well dont pretend everything is all rosy. He should be bloody ashamed of himself for acting like this, he made your baby and should be taking responsability fir it and looking after you when you need him the most.

Sorry you're having such a rough time hun

One thing to bear in mind is that all the stress with your OH will be causing a lot of tension in your body which is likely to make any BH's more painful. You could try doing some relaxation exercises to see if it helps at all. You can get hypnobirthing CDs that are great for this.

Hope your meeting with the consultant goes OK
