Just bought

i admit i have been tempted as well!!

I hired one last time with Ella, it really put my mind at rest :)

I am looking at them on ebay as we speak.......... love idea of being able to listen to babys heartbeat....

let us know how you ge ton with it

If you are getting a doppler early on id advise you to get a proper medical one, a few of the girls in 2nd tri (including me) have the Angel Sounds Fetal Doppler from Ebay its great.....but some of the girls are having difficulty finding the heartbeat until 16 weeks +

If you can hang on till then they are brill and very reasonable!!

Here is the link....

OH..........MY.........GOD!!!!

Its brilliant!! Clear as a bell and I know he's moving around as the heartbeat gets really loud when he's near the front :D :D :D
And I can only hear one so know its not twins lol!

The angelsounds ones are much cheaper but theyre amplifiers not dopplers which work from 10 weeks.

The angel sounds are supposed to work from 10 weeks but myself and a lot of the girls in 2nd tri found it harder to find a heartbeat then! Prob cos like you said its an amplifier not a doppler, although it says fetal doppler on the box.

Sounds like you have a good one there, its a great feeling isnt it!

I have no idea, I assume so cos thats what it says in the instructions.

I personally just dont think its sensitive enough to use until about 14 weeks min, but thats just my opinion from my experiences and what the other ladies have said about the angel sounds. But its wicked from then on!! Once you got it you cant stop listening to it :cheer:

Certainly easier first thing in morning or last thing at night. Surprised how high up he is though, at least 2 inches above pubic bone, thought he'd be much lower down. Counted him at 160 beats per min so sounds good to me :)

 glad its going ok what a ressurance im quite jealous !! but only 9 days til scan
