Has anyone seen the film? If so, what did you think of it? Just asking cos it's sorta relevant to some of the much younger mummies on this forum (including myself).

If I put myself in the shoes of a normal 16 year old who hasn't been through pregnancy and so doesn't have a baby to look after then i'd say it's a brilliant film - really funny and well directed.

But, from my own perspective I found it slightly unrealistic. Noone seemed too shocked, least of all Juno herself, when they found out she was pregnant. Most best friends/parents would fly off the handle if they found out their 16 year old best friend/daughter was pregnant!

Anyway, opinions are welcome :D

theres a thread in tv and entertainment hun...not seen it myself though

i saw it last week the ending seems a bit unrealistic she jst carried on with her life i mean could anyone do that i couldnt :?

Hahah i was going to watch it, but i dont need to now lol, you put the ending in here lol.

I do fancy it, just dont have the time to go really. Hoping to see it at some point.

Ive not seen it obv, but from what ive seen in here, she has a perfectly normal pregnancy and then carries on life as normal? man i wish that happened, when i told my friends and my family i was pregnant, they more or less deserted me. I still havent spoken to my mum since then. and most of my friends form school/sixth form have nothing to do with me anymore, no one wanted to know really. it's the way it goes and i know other people in our area have been the same too. If only life was that simple huh!

yeah she has no complications or morning sickness as far as we know - just totally normal, no aches and pains or sleepless nights. Her friends and parents are totally supportive and go with her to the ultrasounds and everything...that's just not how it happens!

And then, yeah, she gives the baby away and continues on as if nothing has happened...she makes it clear near the beginning of the film that once the baby is born, she wants nothing to do with it. It just seemed odd and unrealistic to me. It was a very simplified version of events.

thought it was sad after she gave birth she was just laying there crying... seeing as she was with the dad at the end, and her parents wernt really mad at her because of it, i duno how she could have still given the baby away!!

It would have been terrible if she didn't give the baby to Jennifer Garner's character though!

I loved the movie personally and yeah the bit after she gave birth was so sad :(

Managed to watch this

It was a bit... weird....
but ok, some funny bits

It was sad at the end
I dont know how anyone can carry a baby for that long and give it away

The only morning sickness she seemed to have is being sick blue slushie in her stepmums thing... lol
Duno what its called.
