12 WEEKS!!!!

Omg this is going all far too fast for me - doesn't seem two minutes since I was jumping for joy because I'd hit double figures! So this time next week, I'll have had my scan and be packing my bags and heading off next door! Right I'm scared now!!

I've reached the bug 1-2 too!

Starting to feel very real now. I was buying a present for a friend'a baby shower in mothercare yesterday and I must have looked a right loon because I couldn't keep the smile off my face thinking about how our turn was on its way!

Looking forward to baby shower but not looking forward to having to make excuses for not drinking (going for the antibiotics excuse) and for trying to hide how tired I am.
I'm so looking forward to people knowing as I am such a rubbish liar.

I always used the water infection excuse, similar to pregnancy symptoms, no drinking cos of antibiotics and believable in women!

Me and my mum went to asda last night as we do every week (21 and spending my Friday nights in asda with my mum!!) and we usually just wander past the baby stuff but last night we were picking thus up and really cooing over them! It's all getting real now - just can't wait for Wednesday now!! Xx

Awww that's nice Dani, I was doing the same thing at 20 with my my mum! I had my 21st while pregnant not exactly how I imagined it would be but i really didn't mind! Celebrated my 30th in a big way instead!

It's lovely having your own house isn't it!! No It was 2 months after my birthday I got caught - but I did get caught on the Saturday before I went to benidorm with the girls - at least my last proper drink was a week of full on binge drinking lool! Felt so guilty about that but the last thing I expected to be was pregnant!!!

Does anyone else hate the word Preggo? My great nan said it to me yesterday and for some reason it made my blood boil! Am I just being strange again?! Xx

Just wondering for those ladies wanting to find out the sex...will you wait until 20 week scan or have a private one at 16-17weeks?

I don't like the word preggo either!
I didn't know i was pregnant with dd either so had been drinking and smoking, gave up both soon as I found out and never smoked again since, can't help it if you didn't know and wasn't planning it.
Im not planning to find out the babys sex again, husband is desperate to know but tough! Its like opening a Christmas present early to me and I love surprises! Some areas won't tell you at 20 week scan so worth finding out what the policy is where you live, my sister can't find out where she lives.

We stayed team yellow on our first pregnancy, we have decided to find out this time but I'm undecided whether to wait or find out early, can definitely find out at our hospital. We have so much stuff from last year, all blue so it would be nice to know either way so we can get it all out or sell it!

I'll be definitely finding out - still unsure whether to pay for a 16 weeks scan, so I can tell everyone before Christmas! Have to see what money lands in the bank on Tuesday but my nan has said she'll pay for it, but they've already offered to buy my pram so I would feel cheeky! I don't know but I'm desperate to find out now! Let's see if
I can hold out for another 8 weeks!! X

Hey just wanted to drop in and say I'm missing you guys. Good luck for all the scans this week. Can't believe some of you are starting to head to Tri 2 soon.

I've had a tough week but starting to feel a bit better now, today is first day I've not cried. Hubby and I are on a healthy eating regime and hoping to catch again really quickly. Fingers crossed xxx

I know, cant wait but also scared, dont know why. 3 sleeps to go, nearly 2, haha. My oh mam works in the hospital and knows the lady doing my scan on wednesday so have been told to let her know who we are so we get xtra pics so hope everything is fine with all our little beans. Then it will be off to tri2. Not going until ive had my scan x
