I'm pretty sure my husband will dress our baby in outfits for every occasion. Little pumpkins at Halloween, reindeer/elf/Santa/pudding at Christmas, egg at Easter...

Wit woo vicky! I was gonna say, cant see you fitting a pram in the boot!
My oh is also looking at un sensible cars. Men hey!

I have to do a presentation today and baby brain seems in full swing. Oh dear. Xx

There is a pram that was made for these cars, but its not nice and expensive, be nice to get a baby seat, but we do already have a family car so this is just his new toy x

Yeah I saw the Aston Martin prams and I must say they are horrible looking! They should just stick to designing cars!
My oh wants a imported car from japan, hmm....I'm just hoping I can get my new golf first so that he has to save a bit longer! Hehehe!

How did he choose between the Aston and the gtr behind it?? Xx

Haha, defo get your car first. I got an x5 a couple years ago and he wanted to change it for a range rover, but i like my car and happy with it. There was a ferrari at the other side... Hes had the really fast cars and wanted something respectable, he was torn between, db9, gtr and rs4. But he kept coming back to the aston, never thought he would be able to afford one, but now with us both having quite well paid jobs, it was very much in his price range. Hes hoping to oick it up in the next few days xx

My hubby is into his 4x4 off roading and we have a landrover defender 90 at the moment, but he's decided that since it has no back seats he has to sell that and but some Volvo 4X4 thing... Looks like the love child of an old vw camper and a defender!
We also have a garage full of landrover spare parts that will be useless! Lol
Boys and their toys eh!

My husband has 3 cars currently, only just got rid of a 4th! He's into racing so they're definitely not baby friendly! I've warned him when I'm on maternity leave he can't be buying random cars and parts all the time... Hope it sinks in :) I'm loving the sports car Vicky, my hubby's aren't anywhere near as nice ;) xx

My oh is also into racing, nightmare! The car he wants is up to race spec, I ain't getting in and out of bucket seats when I have a beach ball attached to my tummy! Men are never practical hey! He had a vx220 once and we had to take it food shopping, the most hilarious thing I have ever done, I even fell out of the thing in the car park! Deary me!
Don't really want to part with my beetle though! Lol. Xx

Its a man thing :) and i cant stop him, he lives cars, always has, always will. Hes got a subaru p1 also that he has spent a bit of money on to make it extra fast, but thats down in a friends garage sonewhere cos he doesnt know what to do with it, where to keep it or sell it. As long as we still have plenty money to live and for baba, im not bothered, puts a big smile on his face :D x

At our wedding our tables were named after cars :D bless them!! Xx

Morning girls :-) luckily he's not into cars, he just has a very extensive and expensive sporting hobby list! Mondays: football training then snooker, Tuesdays snooker, Wednesdays cricket training, Thursday football training, Friday - beer with football lads, Saturday - cricket all day and Sunday football!!

So ladies be lucky - your OH might spend stupid amounts of money on cars - mine is rarely at home!! He knows it all has to change come June! Luckily football stops in May (good for me, I manage the bloody team!!) bit cricket will have started back up by then.

Sickness has returned for me :-( xx

Thought it was about timeI jumped into this thread!

My sickness has also returned Dani. Thankfully not as bad as before, just seems to be when I wake up and if I have a late dinner but ugh, when are we going to bloom and glow???

I have a OH that's spends stupid amounts of money on filling our garage with crap and he's never at home due to work... what really pees me off is him having parts delivered when hes away and knowing I will have to sort them out.

He sent me on a mission to pick up a landrover bumper and winch once in my little 1997 fiesta... this thing weighed a ton, my wheel arches where rubbing when I went round corners! and it only just about fitted in my little car, and the sat nav took me home down the motorway... I was crapping my pants! Its come in handy a few times though ;)

He's into his kayaking as well, so before we had the garage, I used to have 3 canoes in my hallway! one was too big to fully stand up and I had a mountain bike too... so glad we now have a double garage... although its now half full due to the sankey trailer he just had to have! Man can waste some money lol

Can't they just - I've just spent silly amounts on some new football boots for him for Xmas - why because he neeeeeeeds them! Not to mention the bloody FA fines he gets - I'm sure they are going to start answering phone with 'oreyt Dan, you paying his fine again?!' I can't say anything - I recently got a fine for 'abusing' the ref - don't be an idiot and take on a very angry pregnant woman!

Oh and being the 'pregnant one' I'm now also designated driver at any point - for instance 'can you pick me and Adam up from snooker?' that would have been fine, apart from he also forgot to mention someone else who lives the other side of sheffield!! Men eh! Who would have them? Xx

Haha! Oh dani! I'd go tits! Hubs has tried to play the your the designated driver now card, I tell him I'm too tired and it's not safe to drive when your really tired ;)
Bloody men! I miss him when he's not here and can't wait for him to come home, then he does and I verbally abuse him a lot while he laughs at me :)
Spose they did help towards our growing tummies tho :)

He's has the blame for everything - he once come in to brush his teeth has I'd got my head down the loo throwing my guts up and he got called all the names under the sun and told everything was his fault and why did even come anywhere near me!! Luckily he doesn't actually 'live' with me - he works so near his mums he stays there when he has early starts which is excellent and I love having my house to me :-) but in all fairness he's here 80% of the time and he's not going to stay at his mums at all once bubs is here!

It's not very often he does throw the designated driver card at me - but when he does, he does it properly! Xx

Just had a letter off the hospital saying that after all the tests last Wednesday - bubs is marked down as very low risk for downs :-) it's a big weight lifted off xx

Haha... Sound fair to me! Vomming for verbal abuse lol

Good news about the downs chick.
Will be having my blood test next Wednesday. Not sure we are any higher risk because hubby's brother is downs... Don't know if there is a genetic link or not... Don't think so...
