Has anyone got a Jane Slalom pro matrix? Are you happy with it? My DH is very keen on this travel system because we walk on rough ground alot with our dog so need a pushchair thats up to that I have told him as he is paying he can pick the push chair :rotfl: but wanted some opinions on it from people who have it!

i have it and love it! its great to push, has great suspension and the brake at the front is really handy, stops you being dragged down hills by the pushchair

make sure that the matrix carseat fits in your car though as loads of people have problems. best to practice fitting the seat before baby arrives too as its tricky and the instructions aren't clear, it took my OH ages to fit it in but now he's used to it he can get it in and out the car in less than a minute.
we live half hours drive from aberdeen so its great being able to move logan from the car to the chassis without waking him and worrying that he's been in the carseat too long.

it is quite big when folded so check your boot space. its also wider than some other prams so dont even think about getting on a bus with it!
Its not ideal for the city (you'd probably end up buying a cheap stroller for going around the shops) but if you do lots of walking its great :D

i like the fact you can use the matrix as a carry cot or rear facing seat on the chassis before you start using the proper seat (which is totally flat so fine for a newborn anyway). we've stashed the main seat unit in the loft for now

Thanks for your reply! Sounds good, I want to do alot of sling carrying so not too worried about using it around town, DH was especially impressed by the disk brake on the front - typical man :rotfl:

Yeah we have one also. Love it. We live on a farm and its been great for us so far. Ditto a lot of what muppetmummy has said about it.

OH loves it also and my parents find it good to manage.

It was the only one we really liked and wanted from the moment we saw it. And it'll last us for years :)
