Or at least I don't think I have. Does this matter? Does everyone get it at some point or not?

I feel like I'm missing out or something! :eh:

I literally started getting them on Friday night just gone. I'd not really noticed them before at all, but I think I can remember having some REALLY mild ones. Our baby was breech and once I had an ECV last Wed to turn him/her the MW told me i'd start getting them in abundance...and boy have I?!

Now i'm getting them non stop! Must be at least a good 15-20 a day for the past few days! Crazy! lol! They're not painful though - I quite like them actually! lol! You bump goes rock hard and lifts a little, stays there for about 20 secs then goes back down. I'm sure you'll start getting them soon :-)

Hiya,
This is my second pregnancy, and I'm just over 35 weeks now. So far with this one, and for the entirety of my first pregnancy, I have never felt a BH going on how ppl describe them!
My first one had to be induced multiple times though.... So she just really didnt want to leave.
It looks like I'll be having an ECV on Weds so maybe after that I'll get them?
Don't worry. Chances are we have them, but assume its the baby moving, or just don't pay attention?
x

I really dont think I got them with my first. 2nd time they started about 35wk and this time from about 29wks and are really strong at times so i wouldnt worry too much

Do you know what? I've just been lying here watching my tummy and realised that I have been getting them for a couple of weeks now but I thought it was bubs curling into a ball which was causing bump to tighten and raise up! Doh!!

I didn't realise I was having them until a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was the baby stretching or something but the midwife said it was more likely I was having BH's. I get them in bed usually, or when I'm relaxed anyway, but I suppose I'm less likely to notice them if I'm keeping myself busy!

I'm 36+2 and never had them... baby is breech so not sure if this makes a difference?

Iv had them since about 16weeks and even though baby was breech i still got them but with my daughter i never got them till the end :) x

I think I had a few when ours was breech but they've definately started up since baby is in a cephalic position lol!

I didnt have any during Lacey's pregnancy so haven't a clue what they feel like!

I think we can get them confused sometimes... It does feel like baby is stretching!

I've been having them this time round from about 17 weeks I think.

iv never had one was just chatting to friend this morning about this as im scared of getting one now panicking and making a twat of myself with mw lol

Don't worry hun - My mate's sister text everyone in her phonebook saying she was in labour, only to find out once she got to hospital that it was BH! Hehehe!

I love them - the woman taking our last antenatal class was saying, oh they hurt don't they? I was like, no - I like them! Haha! I'm such a saddo massochist! I'll be laughing through my contractions when i'm actually in labour!

But really - they don't hurt! lol!
