Is this normal?! I asked my friend who is pregnant and she said she didn't have any pains in 1st tri. Its quite a niggly pain and all in the front. Has this happened to anyone else? AF would have been due yesterday xx
Hey hun i had AF type cramps and pains on and off for about a couple of weeks which now have subsided thankfuly its all normal just little bean birying itself in there!
Hey chick, I had pains too. Had a scan to check all was well, and everythin's fine. It's just the womb stretching and the muscles aching slightly. Put a hot water bottle on ya tum, that should ease the aches.

This is completely normal, i panicked like yourself and was convinced i was going to come on and that i wasnt even pregnant!! i still get them now! Its your unterus streching and ligaments etc, you have to remember theres loads going on in there!!
Try not to worry to much but i know the first 12 weeks are the hardest!! x x x
Awww nothin to worry bout lovely just everything stretching and growing and what not if it helps to reassure you i've been having stomach cramps throughout the last 11 weeks I don't have them every day but I seem to get them after the babies been doing some growing (i know when this is cos I am exhausted on those growth spurt days lol) n then the next day my belly aches and skin is a bit itchy I've got an old c-section scar thats givin me a bit of jip too Try not to worry - get your OH to put nice warm hands on your belly or just give yourself a really light massage over your tummy - might help xxxxx
Hi Alice I haven't personally but LOTS of women get them. There could be lots of reasons, AF was due, stretching etc. Stretching is a common one, even though babies are so small in first tri, you're going from having absolutely nothing there, to having a small baby and a big uterus! I've heard babies grow more in 1st tri than in any other so no wonder we feel the stretching!!
Anyway, as long as you have no blood, it'd more than likely one of those reasonable explanations.
You'll be fine It's always a panic feeling something "strange" especially when your first port of call says they didn't get any! Hope the girls here have reassured you !! xx
