Ive been told to get my bum over here...BFP!

Hey there everyone

I hope there is room in here for me? (Im not really the size of a small elephant...not yet anyway!)

Im new to this part of the forum but have been in TTC section for quite a while (well it felt like it ). DH and I have been TTC since October last year and I actually got my BFP last Sat . We are over the moon, feeling like we are luckiest people in the whole world but still think that we are about to wake up from a dream

I went to the doctors today who said there was no need to do a pg test as I have done a zillion HPTs already! I have had really random length cycles since I came off the pill and so we cant really work out my due date yet but I have my first MW appointment next week

So happy to be in this very scary '12 week' boat with you all and I am looking forward to getting to know you! Apologies now...I can be a bit of a chatter box

Hey hun nice to se you here!!!! Maybe you could wok out a rough EDD by using the most average of your cycles albeit they are haywire as you say might give you a rough idea though!

I had my first docs appointment today as well and he didn't bother testing either.

Unfortunately I don't get my first MW appointment until at least 10 weeks.

Hi Sally,

Nice to meet you and congrats on your BFP! I also had all over the place cycles after coming off the pill last summer, the calculators based on last period put my due date at 10th October but after first scan it's looking more like a Halloween baby!

I'm having my first MW appt this afternoon! But all they tend to do is take blood for tests and get you to pee in a specimen bottle!

yay and welcome . i think this is the part that you just kind of wish away because either you're very ill with it or barely any symptoms and so don't feel pregnant (not having a bump kind of helps with this!)
