Hi Jenna

Don't worry about crying at the doctors! I cried like a baby when i went, i think all my underlying anxiety about my fetrility all came flooding out.

But they hardly battered an eyelid to be honest they were so used to it!

I'm so pleased your going and hopefully get some answers.

aww thanks for the hugs ladies. Im really worried about what exactly im going to tell him. I hate it when doctors say 'well what can i do for you'...i'll be like 'i want babies    ' :rotfl:

good luck
I think most people cry when talking to the dr about this kind of thing.

Yes, dont worry about it!!! i cried in front of my doctor, and he was making jokes with me, and handed me a tissue and in a theatrical voice said 'Honestly my dear, they simply do not pay me enough for this!!!'

It really helped, they are there to help you, xxx

lol ive cried my eyes out to my doctor talkin about it, poor thing didnt know where to look i had to take a lil breather b4 i started talking lol. but he was very nice about it even tho i still havnt had my scan i was booked in for a month ago>< but its not his fault.

im sure your doctor will do evrything he can (if hes a nice doctor)
good luck hun hope it gets sorted soon for ya

ooooh good luck, bet you're nervous but I'm sure it'll be ok. Can your other half make it to go along and back you up?

 good luck Jenna, i'm sure it will go fine.xxx

Sure it'll be fine - I was like this before I went last month and I had to explain about donation too  at least you're doing it the normal way

 Good luck and try not to worry they have seen it all before.

Good luck

Make a list of what you want to say to him, so you don't forget (I do that and it may look odd but at least you don't walk out and think darn I meant to ask....)

They may test your FSH levels first (I think thats the right hormone name to see if you are ovalating fine) through blood tests, thats what my Dr did as I started to panic as I hit 32 and everything was fine. They use it to detect low sperm count too.

See http://www.labtestsonline.org.uk/unders ... /test.html

Hope it helps, you could always ask him to test FSH levels

 I'm glad you've got an appointment. I hope you get some answers. I agree with making a list....I always forget half of the things I want to ask. Good Luck!
