Hi,

Just need a rant.

For the past month, gabriella has been feeding every 2 hours, day and night.

I am so tired!

We don't have a firm routine...do you think this may help?

x

How old is she? Could it be a growth spurt? I don't think babies and routines aregreat - have a loose routine sure but babies need flexibility too.

I have a 9 week old who is the same. How old is your baby? I'm starting to struggle now too, it soon catches up on you doesn't it xx

She's almost 5 months. I've looked at wonder weeks but this has been going on a month now!

I don't remember this with my other 2. They were sleeping thru by now.

However, she is gaining a lot of weight at the moment, so maybe she's just on catch up?!

I have a vague memory of ds being a little you know what at 5 months, he went through a leap and a growth spurt at the same time! I don't think it went on for a month but the days blurred so much it possibly did! He was really peeved off that he wanted to sit up and couldn't!

No practical advice I'm afraid, just sympathy and hugs :hugs:

bless you, sounds difficult, a week ago I wud have said our lil miss sleeping thru but these last few days she has either gone thru with one feed up to three...so unpredictable! one night even went to bed 8.30 with the hope of grabbing more sleep myself..no such luck...thing I dont get is if I give her the soother she's ok and doesnt pop it out immediately (suggesting hunger) and this can then go on for up to 2hrs popping back in again lol...she is swaddled so have tried allowing one arm free to see if its soothing she needs but then she just doesnt sleep! eventually I fed her 2hrs later but didnt sleep much myself....makes it hard to plan your days as never sure what the night will bring...thng is if she ALWAYS needed two feeds would get used to it but she doesnt...
