it's just hit me - i'm having a baby (well babies...)

so far, i've just been happily smiling away and enjoying the PG with people giving me seats on trains, offering to make me drinks or fetch things for me whilst watching my bump grow......

at the weekend i spent a day clearing out the small bedroom. we only have my teenage step-daughters stay twice a month and they have seperate rooms but with the babies coming, they have to go back to sharing.....

anyway i was packing stuff up in crates and the room was cleared out and is now ready to decorate and it suddenly hit me.....i'm gonna have babies in there soon!

gone into panic mode now as haven't decided on buggy (do we go for side-by-side or one in front of the other), will they need a cot each etc .

i've been in an "oh my gawd!!" mood ever since. did anyone hit this stage or am i just completely mad?

I had that moment when me & Paul stayed in the spare bedroom as we were in the midst of decorating our bedroom and I said just think this'll be baby's bedroom soon

Try and avoid one in front, they're ok with small babies, but when they grow....they get a little heavy to push up kerbs etc.

We took a mamas and papas side by side though if I had twins again I would have prob gone for the three wheeler as they are more compact.

We eventually got two single buggies and used them as much as poss if there were two of us out, so much easier

I know what you mean - I'm having twins in March, only 13 weeks to go.....and have started to panic slightly.

Aside fron the fact that I am going to be huge and already finding it very uncomfortable, the mere thought of caring for two babies is scaring the hell out of me.

I'm sure we'll breeze through it though, once everything is bought and in place the whole thing won't be so daunting.......I hope

Bless i love twins! My friend had a boy and a girl and they are so cute!! Must be hard work and rough on the wallet but totally worth it!!
