It's finally gotten to me!!! A little rant if I may!

Pregnancy that is!!!

I've been getting shooting pains down my legs every so often for the past couple of weeks but so far it hasn't really bothered me....until today. I can barely walk the pains are almost constantly there when I'm walking and I look a right fool when I lose control of my legs in crowded places!! Plenty of people have looked at me today as though I were in labour!

I want to be able to walk without the pain and fear of falling, NEED to get baby out but I'm thinking I've probably got at least 3 weeks left yet.

Maybe babys pressing on a nerve? I sometimes gets trapped nerve pains that make me shout out.
These last few weeks are horrid, I hope your baby comes out soon

Thanks MM!! I thought it was probably a nerve too. My whole leg jolts on it's own, look like some kind of clown!!!Middwife said at last appt that baby wasn't engaged but had it's head rested on my pubic bone so I'm thinking there must be a nerve around there!!

Sciatica

Pelvic Girdle Pain

My midwife diagnosed me as having Sciatica, but theres nothing to do about it it's a case of the baby being on the nerve there's nothing to fix it except pain relief. I know how you feel though, I was jumping and jerking all over the place at the end of my pregnancy and it's damn painful. x

It's crap isn't it? I keep pausing while walking to go OW OW OW OW and yes, the general public are of course convinced you're in labour

I spent all last night sat down, and have been sitting as much as poss today too!! Best excuse I've ever had to be lazy!!

One downside is that walking is one of the best ways to bring labour on!
