Evening ladies

I have just found out I am pregnant, think I am 4 weeks 2 days and couldn't be more excited.

I'm just a bit worried as I don't seem to have any symptoms, my boobs are a little bit sore but certainly not like what is described. I had a bit of nausea on Saturday but since then nothing and I am not incredibly tired like I think I should be, is this a problem or just a little early?

I have been getting really low cramps occassionally which feel like AF is on her way and last night they were really painful with back ache but only lasted a minute, today just occassional AF type cramps. Has anybody else had this.

I really want to stop worrying but each day goes so slowly.

Thank you for any help.

Hi,

Congratulations!!

Is this your first pregnancy?

It's very early on so don't get worried if you feel like you haven't got many symptoms. I'm kind of in the same boat at the moment. I do have extreme tiredness though and need to pee lots otherwise it doesn't feel as though I am pregnant.

Cramps and twinges are perfectly normal, you may well experience them through out the first tri as your uterus is growing.

Unfortunately, the first tri consumes you with worry but I found in my first pregnancy that once I got passed 8 weeks it seemed to fly by.

It is normal not to get any symptoms for some people, some get them come and go all the time.

I'm sure yours will come in time :D

Maybe a bit too early for most symptoms. Don't worry about it. Chances are it'll hit you soon enough. Many women don't experience any so don't panic if you don't either. Both are normal.

My earliest symptoms were peeing lots, but not sure I had any at 4 weeks. And being really tired. Other ones didn't happen till a bit later.

Thanks ladies. Yes Bagpuss this is our first, I think it was the cramps that were worrying me.

When did the tiredness start Bagpuss?

I just want to get through the next few weeks and for everything to be ok.

I didn't have any symptoms until about 5 weeks. Then I had strong stomach cramps for a week. It wasn't until 6 weeks that I got the sore boobs, nausea and extreme tiredness. That only lasted for 2 weeks and by 8 weeks I was not really having many symptoms other than tiredness. I have been reassured that everything is fine and that some people just don't get as many symptoms as others.

Just wait till the symptoms hit u!

The cramps are normal

Tilly,

The tiredness has hit me pretty much straight away this time. I found out about a week and a half ago that I was pregnant.

I think 6-9 weeks is the peak time for the worst of the symptoms as I think that's when the pregnancy hormones are at their peak.

Of course, not everybody suffers and some people have symptoms that come and go.

It's understandable that the cramps are worrying you but it's all normal.

Hope the next few weeks fly by for us all who are in the early stages of pregnancy

with my first i had no symtoms at all all the way through all i had was about 7months bad heart burn so i wouldnt worri too much
xx

Congratulations on your news!!

Sounds like normal symptoms which is good! If you're feeling like this early on, it shows your body is responding well to the pregnancy which is great.

There is a "early pregnancy symptoms" thread on this part of the forum (1st Tri) might be an idea to check it out :)

Congrats again x

Everyone has different symptoms so don't worry
I was really annoyed about the period like pain - I thought being pregnant would mean 9 months of no period pains (I was very naive back then about all the many pains and inconveniences of being pregnant  ) then I had period like pains for weeks to begin with and with periods they only last a few days  So it's not a bad sign and it doesn't mean yur period is coming - I was so worried about that to begin with.
