Just a quick question, I'm now 3 days overdue and had period like pains all day yesterday, then they wore off. This morning have been woken up by them again, but they feel stronger. Is this the start of labour, or is it once again just things getting ready??
Sorry for the dumb question, but since this is my first baby, I have no idea!

Both my labour's started with period type pains but i got them a lot in my back,
you will soon know as they will get stronger and your tummy will go hard! good luck huny
labour cant be that bad if we all go back and do it again!!

Oh, so could be then, although I've been having period pains for weeks, just feel stronger today! I'm only 3 days over, so impatient!!

The start of my labour was period pains, not so much of an obvious contraction that came and went, more just a constant heavy aching period pain, then the pain started to stop and start and get stronger xx good luck :-D XX

I've still been getting them, and still no baby! Went for a walk yesterday and started getting really strong pains across my bump, every 15 minutes, and thought this must be it, but they also stopped, I've had a full nights sleep and everything! I know I'm not that far over, but it can't be that much fun in there anymore!

I had period pains as well when I went into labour. Fingers crossed that they come again!!!
