i dont know whats happening to my baby.

he cries all the time for what i feel is no apparant reason..hes fed changed had teeth medicine etc etc
he practically goes blue when i leave the room
he spits all his food out, inspects it, then eats it if he feels like
bedtime is a nightmare
he has "tantrums" 24-7
naps are non existent

the list is endless..im actually starting to get very very down i just dont know what to do. please tell me its a phase that will end?? is it just us?? ive barely posted on here since getting back as ive just been feeling shitty about everything like im not a good mum im trying my best but oh isnt exatcly suportive. i was crying whilst attempting to feed him dinner which ended in him filthy and screaming....
=(

:hugs: How long has he been like this? Drake untill today was extremely grumpy for 3 days, i couldn't leave the room, when he was with me he'd cry, he'd even grumble at dinner times. I gave him calpol in case he was feeling poorly, teething powders and bonjela but nothing worked. He's been much much better today though! I'm hoping its a phase for you hun. Do you think as you've just come back he feels out of sorts a little?

Seperation anxiety?

I really hope lo settles hun

Charley's been like this for the past few weeks, he's so clingy and cries when I leave the room, it took me 2 hours to Hoover the house the other day cos he kept crying!!
I think he's going through separation anxiety! x x

hey Amy, you're a fab Mum so dont forget it
sound slike seperation anxiety as the others said and hopefully he'll be back to normal soon. that doesnt really help much as sounds like its pretty tough for you at the mo especially without little support from OH. you need to come on here and get support xxx

Like others have said sounds like separation anxiety and although a nightmare is just a phase. Some babies get over it quicker than others, but if you are getting anxious he will feed off of that. But don't feel you're a bad mum. I was so angry the other day, our dog had eaten an important letter about our tax credits and I couldn't get through on the phone and was getting more and more annoyed and oscar was tired and he just started screaming feeding off my emotions and didn't stop forr ages. I felt so guilty after like I'd let him down but I just needed 5 minutes to think clearly and he would not stop screaming. You do get so frustrated when you can't think for a minute but then feel so guilty like you're letting them down for wanting them to just be quiet for a minute.

Soon as I calmed down, gave him a hug, he calmed down and fell asleep for 2 hours.

Don't beat yourself up, you are a fab mum but babies are hard work sometimes. Esp as they can't tell us what is wrong!

xxxxxxx

thankyou ladies for all your advice and kindwords. im having a pretty rough time atm, and feeling very down and burst into tears all the time.
he has been like this since we went to italy. the mil rang us on numerous occasions when babysitting to tell us to come home as she couldnt cope!! as soon as he saw us he was fine. the eating issue is getting to me too. hes refusing to be spoonfed so im giving more finger foods which is going ok but hes not really eating that much. i feel like each days a battle which i lose. im trying to stay positive and happy but its hard! =(
