Is this a bad idea?

Booked a hair appt for tomorrow, I usually have highlights but I'm sick of my roots coming through and at the moment they look awful, so I'm having lowlights instead (hopefully my roots wont look as harsh then). I really want my hair to look decent in the baby pics because I know the rest of me looks like crap right now

Anyway the reason I'm asking if it's a bad idea or not is because its my due date tomorrow and what if I go into labour halfway through my lowlights? Like my waters break and it all happens suddenly? Didn't think of that until after I made the appt

Hmmm thats a toughie, if you don't go baby might not bother showing but if you do then baby might.....

Maybe go but wear a thick towel just in case waters break, only tyhing is I would drive, because if you did go into labour you wouldnt be able to drive back because you're not allowed, could a friend/family member go with you???

x

I'd say go for it. To be honest, you may find that you feel so overwhelmed and relieved after the baby is born you'll not think about your hair but there again, it will give you a lift if you feel exhausted and you may not have much of a chance to have your hair done for a while.

The Steelgoddess is right, however, I wouldn't drive yourself. There's a very slim chance the baby will arrive whilst your in the salon. What a story that would make for the hairdresser!

Whatever you do tomorrow, spend some time looking after yourself before the baby arrives :)

Awww Jodes, I'd still go for it! It's not an all day thing and you can always joke to the hairdresser that it's your due date and that you will apologise in advance in case your waters break over their posh chairs! lol.

Happy due date for tomorrow and I'm sure you'll look fab with your lovely hair in baby pics :D x

GO FOR IT.

I had my low lights done today, because i DON'T want to be looking like a scruff on the photos when the baby arrives..........lol.

I'm sure your baby will let mummy have her last treat before she is subjected to being covered in puke :D
