AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH I ould kick myself now - really thought it was too early to ov and was catching the pre-ov line yesterday and it would be really dark today - I'm sooooo annoyed with myself!! xx

Don't be to down Hun, try again tonight. Do you have enough OPKs to do until Sunday? You could be gearing up to a surge, even though today's is fainter it could just because your pee is to diluted as they say the best time to test is as late on as possible. Got my FX for you x

Don't worry too much Cosmic. I never got a good line off the cheapie OPK's, some people don't. Luckily the BBT confirmed my ovulation, sorry the flu spoilt yours this month. Hoping my Persona will help me pin point OV this month. I'd carry on with the OPK's for a few days as suggested. Also doing it a couple of times a day for example you might get a dark line in the afternoon and not the morning. Don't forget you'll OV something like 12-36 hours after a positive OPK.

Omg Louise, I have messed this up, big time!

Did this at 2.10, not a hint of a line, ov has been, I bd'd late, big chance of a blue bfp!
I really thought the line I had was an early sign and it would get darker over the next couple of days then I would ov x

Don't fret

If you look at O+12 method, you just had the *perfect* bd timing for a girl

"Kynzi noticed that the only day on which more girls than boys were conceived was the day following ovulation"

I'm not up on these methods to be honest, so i don't know which method has stood the test of time better... but it can't be all bad, right? Chin up.

Thanks Louise, I know it's not the end of the world but I've been stupid and all my careful planning and research may have been put at risk.
I couldn't quite get my head around the o+12 method, it went against every piece of research I had read regarding the boys swimming quicker.

Have you seen The Great Sperm Race?

Well, maybe with the boy sperm being faster - they all race off super quick leaving the girls bring up the rear.

That means they will encounter the bulk of the nasties. They'll pave the path through the acid fluids, fill up lots of the dead ends in the cervix, occupy the majotiry of the antibodies, etc etc.

The girlies get an easy ride and therfore maybe while the boys are busy being killed, some of the girls just sneak in right at the end if the egg is already waiting

Oooh I love the sound of that, I have everything crossed that that will happen.
I did see the great sperm race, it was really interesting. Hats off to the lady who got the surgeon to remove some of her tube for her to study, that's dedication right there! xx
