Ok so im now fasting for my glucose test i have tomorrow morning..... dreading it... i dont do well when i dont eat in the morning and lucozade gives me heart burn!

Anyways, i just had a brain wave. I have been researching Glucose Tolerance Test but just looked at my notes and it says im having a Glucose load test.....

Is there any difference?? Even if it is just the procedure??

I just want to be prepared for tomorrow and now im completely confused...

never heard of the glucose load test before. I imagine it's a mis-write on your notes - because if it was anything different other than the glucose tolerence test, surely you would have been told?

well turns out it wasnt what everyone else has anyway.

Had to fast for 12 hrs and during that 12hrs at 10hrs i had to drink 1pint of lucozade then at 12 hrs had bloods and that was it.... :/ oh and urine sample
