is super glue safe while pregnant?

I asked this in pregnancy chat but didnt get many answers just want to make sure
Before I start.
(I got adviced to sit by a window on other thread which is good advice & will
But I'm not able to sit right by it & I'm not sure if theres any reason it's not safe)

So long as you're in a well ventilated area, and you're not 'buzzing' it, then I'd say you're safe lol.

Assuming you're only going to be gluing something quickly? If not, as OH to do it

I am making a model carousel for lo so I could do little bits at a time would that be safer?

Just be careful of the whiff. I read somewhere (sorry cannot remember where...I have read so much baby gumpf it all blurs into one memory) that fumes could lead to babies developing asthma (like second hand cigarette smoke, etc).

Maybe you could buy one of those white masks that decorators wear over the nose and mouth to stop them breathing in dust, just to be on the safe side.

Hun the mask won't do anything apart from make you feel better. It filters particles like dust rather than fumes. If you are in a well ventilated area and don't do it for long periods at a time, take a break and pop outside and get some real fresh air inbetween it should be fine. Prolonged exposure in unventilated areas is probably not a good idea but i'm sure its fine. The mask might just make it harder for you to breath, so you breath deeper and take in more of the fumes!
