Is Pregnacare better than other pre-natals?

I've seen it mentioned a lot on here.

As we aren't TTC until December at the minute I'm just taking Superdrugs own pregnancy/conception vitamins but if Pregnacare is a lot better then when my superdrug ones run out in November I'll swap over.

Thoughts?

Well, the only thing to do really is check the box

My hubby is a pharmacist so he has often pointed out the cheapo brands being just as effective as the brand stuff in shops.

If it says the same, then you mioght as well stick to the cheap stuff.

All that said, i'm on pregnacare conception and i'm even tempted to start using Zita West (v.expensive) because i've just got this whole "get what you pay for" mentality

Maybe the ingredients are more refined or something...

ive been taking the sanagogen mother to be ones. I also bought some pregnacare only because they were a fiver for 30days. I think as long as they contain folic acid and you still maintain a healthy diet any vitamin would do the job!!

Hey, I agree a lot of the time you are paying for the name and the ingredients. Saying that this month I went all out and bought Pregnacare, I figured as I was going for it with SMEP what the hell!! xxx
