Ladies, I need your advice. When did you start to add yogurt in the nutrition of your baby? My daughter is now the 6th month, I am going to give yogurt to her next month. Or should I wait?
Also, I would like to know, whether you buy or prepare yogurt by yourself. If you buy, what brands are good? If you make it, which yogurt maker do you use?

I started giving yoghurt to mine when they were 4 months so I'm sure your daughter will be fine at 7 months. I personally would use the fromage frais kind of yoghurts. Good luck

Yes fine as far as I know, has she had other dairy before? I started with natural yoghurt when weaning and sometimes mixed fruit purée in. Now for my toddler use low sugar etc yoghurts/fromage frais.

I give my son plain: natural, greek or turkish style yoghurts. These aren't fruity or sugary and he doesn't really know any different so he still accepts it even though he is now nearly 19 months. He's only had one pre-made fruity yoghurt which I believe was flavoured with fruit concentrate so wasn't the worst you can buy.

Bio live yoghurts are great for keeping healthy gut bacteria too! Mine loved natural/greek style yoghurt from 6 months, with banana or some other fruit. We did babyled weaning. Only thing that would stop you would be any dairy intolerance, but otherwise, should be fine :)

Oh, so early! I haven't known it is possible. I would have started to add yogurt to daughter's nutrition too if I knew.
Thank you.

Yes, she has already had milk. Yogurt with fruits must taste really delicious.

Oh, I haven't known about turkish style yogurt. I'll try it. I even found a video with its recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C60R7_ekiHI . Also, I decided to prepare it by myself. Now I'm choosing from these yogurt makers https://www.bestadvisor.com/yogurt-makers . In doubt :eh:

Hope, my daughter won't have any intolerance. But I'll check it on yogurt. Thank for reply:)
