Stupid question. I know curry is supposed to help bring on the birth but does that mean it has a simular effect when you are early on? I am almost 28 weeks and was thinking that I didn't want it to trigger anything yet.

Sounds crazy me writing thing but there is alway something to think about!

i dont think so. Ive eaten curry all the way through. I dont think it really induces labour unless youre body is ready anyway. Otherwise they'd ban all spicy food for pregnant women!

It's ok to eat curry all the way through the only reason they say it may induce labour is the heat and a
Spice that's in balti as well but it's the same as eating chilli your basically not gonna pop unless your ready anyway x x

I have been eating curries so far through the pregnancy, i like a curry once a week ;)
Enjoy

 You need a tindaloo to give you the serious runs to start labour!! It's fine hun ;)

this week I have had a spicy curry monday night, loadsa chilli in a beef stirfry tuesday, and a chinese takeaway last night. I am still without baby!

Yeah - i've been living off spicy food recently but nothing's happened :-(

It's only really effective if you're not used to it and it it's that hot it gives you the shits  your bowel and uterus are really close so the irritated bowel sets off your uterus! I told my mums dog groomer this casually in conversation - she looked quite disgusted

OH and I are going to an indian for lunch tomorrow. Its one of those ones where they cook your food infront of you on hotplates :yay: im gonna order the vindaloo!!

I don't know what would be more painful after a Vindaloo - giving birth or having a BM the day after...
