its not just sex, but its a part of it, me and OH (sorry if TMI) have, shall i put it, been intimate  every day without fail since we met, but since i fell pregnant i am ever so tired that i cant bring myself to do it, another thing too, whenever OH kisses me, should i say snog, i feel ever so chlosterphobic (spel?) and feel sick, no his breath doesnt smell girlies  i dunno whats wrong with me, but i feel awful for not giving OH much attention even though he says he isnt bothered as he knows whats happening to me with the baby and that!!

By the time I get home from my long day at the office and long commute I'm too tired to even think about being too tired to do anything! :rotfl:
Its good you are able to talk about it and that he's understanding though. Maybe give it some time and you'll feel a bit different especially if you're one of the lucky ones whose hormones go raging!

I am..... but the time I've got home from a full day in the office, walked the dog, cooked tea, tidied up and filled the dishwasher I'm totally wrecked.

I'm still trying to make sure that DH doesn't go without too much though and keeping him satisfied but I'm just too shattered to do the whole thing IKWIM

I'm hoping we'll be back to normal once I get into the 2nd tri

Some women in their first tri often have problems with their partners smell. Not that they smell, but that the woman's sense of smell is so senstive something kicks in and they find it unpleasant and cannot tolerate the smell of their partner.

I had this and it lasted for about 5 weeks. I made OH change his deodorant and it helped a bit, but I really struggled whenever he came near to my face for a kiss and so on. It made me feel sick. He was very understanding as its quite normal and he realised this.

on the smelly note...... my DH gave me a kiss the other day and it made me heave because he was chewing a piece of minty chewing gum and the minty smell made me want to :puke:

i've been feelin exactly the same, i normally like to (hmmm hmmm) every night, or more lol.. but since found out was preg, only 2 or 3times..

apparently its just a stage, and dont worry you'll go thru other stages hehe.. if u know what i mean xx

Oh dear, am i the only one thats terribly horny then?????

I'm too tired, plus a not really in the mood. Plus I know it's safe to have sex but it does worry me a bit. Hope I snap out off it soon - feel a bit guilty!

Even though I am totally not in the mood for any passion, my DH does not attempt to come near me in that way when I am preggers!! Exactly the same thing happened in my last pregancy to the point of it becoming a problem even after the birth and longer  The whole process really put a wedge between us with regards to our sex life. All other aspects of our relationshiop was fine so I persevered.

We talked it through loads of times and slowly worked it out. Anyway, as soon as our passion because much better (with him coming onto me) I become pregnant again!! So pleased though!! I will wait for the first three months and then try to get passionate again DURING pregnancy!!

So relieved to read this post... last night, I couldnt bear the smell of stale smoke off my DH... but felt bad saying it, as he has cut down enormously, and only ever smokes outside on our balcony... not sure what to do. It was sooo strong, it made me queasy.
