Hi Girls,

I am completely off meat and normally I LOVE IT!! I especially love Lamb and I can hardly even type the word without feeling like I am about to throw up! Isn't it strange?!?

My DH says that we are turning into a vegetarian household because all I can stomach is potatoes, brown bread and noodles!! (Perhaps the baby is going to be veggie!!)

I am only 8 weeks but I constantly feel like I am just recovering from a stomach bug with the nausea I am having - does anyone else feel the same?? Is this normal at this early stage?

Julia xxxxxx

nope i just ate a packet of ham yyyyyyuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm :rotfl:
nothing could ever put me off my meat.......................no rude thoughts please ladies

I didn't have any sickness but I did go off meat!! x

Im constantly feeling sick to the point where I feel like Im going to pass out!?
But meat is probably the only food that DOESNT knock me sick!
Im a little concerned actually as Im totally off all food! I mean I dont feel so bad right now, so meat doesnt seem to bad but tomorrow I bet I will be off that too!? I have been taking my vits though so hopefully they are helping!?

I went off meat until about 22 weeks! I went off fish until just the other day!
It's strange really! I know how you feel though, someone only had to mention chicken and i'd have to run to the bathroom!

yep....that sounds totally like me!.........I managed to cook last weeks beef roast but then was nearly heaving when it came to eating it and just had a bowl of cereal instead  The week before was lamb roast....same thing.....I swear I could still smell it in the kitchen 3 days later!!!!!.......my hubby was very disapointed a couple of nights ago when I put his fresh tuna straight into the freezer as I couldnt even stand the thought of the smell in the house...........and last night I could have killed him when I got a waft of the garlic bread he'd sneaked in the oven!!!.............its just too much......totally doint my head in.......just feel starving all the time with eating what feels like little bits of rubbish.....want a big, stodgy, savoury meal but just cant!!!!!! ......so errr yea.....know what u mean! :) ..........and this is aside from having to unplug all my airfreshners which smelled lovely before and now for some reason smell like pee!!!!! lol :)

Hi Julia,
yes it is completely normal to feel so nauseaus all the time, i felt like that until around 11 weeks. And i also went off a lot of food and tea because just the smell made me want to :puke: Its funny you should mention noodles because thats all i could eat in the first few weeks! i think it was the only thing that didn't make me want to :puke:
It does disappear eventually. Hope your feeling better soon. Lots of get well hugs for you!

I'm gutted about it!! I normally love Chinese food but the other day I drove past my favourite chinese restaurant and it made me heave!!

I can't wait until the bean is born so I can enjoy my crispy duck pancakes again... :rotfl:
