Some people just make me fume!!! Picked the kids up from school today and some idiot with a dog which incidently shouldn't be in the playground anyway let her son who's 9/10yrs hold the dog on the lead. This dog is a boxer X some sort of mastiff or Pitt Bull. We'd just got out of the playground and this dog pulled this lad and he no control over it at all and it knocked my six year old flying!!! Then his dozy Mother then decided maybe it wasn't such a good idea to let her Son hold such a big dog :x and had a go at her Son!! The school has sent numerous amounts of letters home asking people not to bring dogs to school with them but some people are to totally ignorant or thick I don't know which. Then I find out that these people only got the dog last week. This is an adult dog not a pup so they have no idea of it's temprament yet and they bring it to school!!!! I'm fookin' fuming I really am!! I'm just glad it only knocked him over and didn't decide to attack him after it had knocked him over. I'm stereotyping the breed, I have a Pitt Bull cross myself and he's the sweetest thing ever but when you've only had the dog a week how do you know it's temprament? I mean my dog 7yrs and we've had him since a pup and I wouldn't dream of taking him to school with me.

Sorry for the rant guys :?

that is rediculous.

my mom used to bring my lil yorkie to collect me, and stand on the opposite side of the road. and that was because she knew she could control him ect.

this person is stupid. and agree with what you have said

That's very irresponsible. I have a German Shepherd and am well aware that its not a good idea for her to be off lead around kids not because she's badly behaved but big dogs are scary. Leorah will never be able to take her on the lead either because although well behaved 99.9% of the time if she sees a cat she pulls hard and can almost knock me over! It doesn't matter how well trained they are dogs are animals and slip up just like we do.

I have a Bullmastiff and she is a BIG dog, i wouldnt dream of taking her into a playground or to a school! I also wouldnt let a child hold her lead, she is a good dog but she has her moments and she has dragged me down before.

Some people are just stupid.
