Iron tablets

Hi, has anyone been put on iron tablets after the birth of their child? I was put on them 2 weeks after Eleanor was born, with a repeat prescription but no one has told me how long i've gotta stay on them. I haven't got my post natel til Eleanor is 8 weeks.

i was put on iron tabs after i had emma but stopped takingthem of my own accord which i dont recommend as i was really ill after coming off them just ask your hv or give your GP a ring if you dont want to go see them
