i really wanted to open this thread with 'top of the morning to ya'...but its 6pm (sorry for the blatant irish sterotyping there...im half irish, i can say it right )

So, i know we have some lovely girls on here from the beautiful island, can anyone tell me of some irish boys names? also, can you tell me how they are pronounced if they are different from the way its written down?

i LOVE irish girls names but dont really know of any boys that are very irish??

I am Irish and so is my hubby and he wants an Irish name for this one, I really wanted Jacob which I know isn't Irish but I do love it, anyway still not so sure yet so I have been looking on here http://www.babynamesofireland.com/irish-boy-names pretty much tells you all you need to know and you can hear how they are meant to be pronounced. Hubby really likes Ciaran.
