at what points of pregnancy do u get internal checks ie a look or a feel!

I had an internal scan at my 12 week scan, as baby wasnt playing ball, and was moving around too much to get the right measurements. It was fine, but I was a bit shocked - I knew all that stuff was coming, but didnt think it would be that soon, lol! It was fine though, and havent had anything else 'down there' since!
I would imagine it will be a lot later on when they start checking the position, cervix, etc.

You don't have any, unless you have a sweep at the end of pregnancy or you have problems. I had one at 21 weeks, it was slightly uncomfortable! X

I had an internal at my 8 week appointment, but they also took care of my pap on the same appointment as I was due for one.

I had an internal scan at 6 weeks with the wand thingie, apart from that nothing till my sweep this week.

you dont HAVE to have any! It wont tell you anything solid. With my 3rd baby I had my first internal about 20 mins before he was born

I don't think you get the internal checks until at least the second trimester... it is too soon in the first I would imagine.. but I am only guessing here xx

apart from wen in labour I Haven't had yet this time,didn't have any wiv 1st,had 1 at 30ish weeks wiv my 2nd due to bleedin and 2 wiv my 3rd at 17 and 34 weeks,again due to bleedin.
