Today I had to go for an Internal - I have been feeling dampish down below and my doctor referred me to the Hospital to get checked out. I had a scan all well and all the usual tests but then the Internal, my first!! She checked top make sure my waters hadnt broke or leaking all fine and then she checked the neck of the womb yes with her hand!! Nearly died so not good with things like this, again all fine. However when I got home there was slight blood on my knickers and when I go to pee there is slight blood on the hankie. I rang the midwife back and she said this is totally normal it is only if I fill a pad to get in touch!! Anyone any stories on this I am now unsettled!!

Well I had some tests done a while back because I got worried about STIs and wanted to get checked out (results all clear lol). She said when she swabbed from my cervix it started to bleed a bit. So told midwife about it and she said it's normal because the cervix is more sensitive during pregnancy. Haven't bled since so all is well I think.
Not sure if it's similar or the same, but hope it helps. :)

Thank you, i feel great after seeing the ba and hearing all was okay but the sight if the blood nearly made me pass out with shock. Looking at internet and think it is normal possibly for a few days after.

Yep they told me to just keep an eye on it and if it got to anything more than spotting, then to get in contact. But only had blood the once, and very little.
