Intercourse Frequency

Hi,

My partner and I have been trying to conceive for the first time over the weekend just gone.

We had intercourse multiple times for two days prior to my Ovulation Date. Since I have read that you should only have intercourse once a day can anyone advise me please?

Sounds like your i with a good chance! Do you mind if I ask how you know your ovulation day? Are you checking your temps or using Ovulation Predictor Kits?

Just by working out the dates from the first day of my cycle. I used an online Ovulation Calculator there are lots available online. Not sure how accurate they are though

It sounds like it uses the 14 day rule, which is wrong for a lot of people. If your cycle is 28 days you could well ovulate then but I recommend you use Ovulation predictor kits and track your temperature to be sure (it rises for 3 days after ovulation). This is my first month of tracking and I found out I ovulate on Cycle Day 21!! I've read others on here ovulate as early as day 7!

Sound like you have a good chance of conceiving however our bodies can suprise us when we ovulate its only when u use ovulaton sticks or temps that u can see when u ovulate, so my advise it babydance as much as you can around ovualtion

I've always used persona but its costlly - BUT it does tell you when you're about to ov don't have to worry about taking temps my cycle is 25/26 days and I ov around days 10-12.

I had a look at the ovulation calculator and it was bang on for me had me ovulating exactly when persona said I would. So maybe for the first few months go by that and see how you get on before shelling out for all the gismos.
