inspiration needed!!

i've got several old suits belonging to OH - the jackets are fine, the trousers have holes in.

i usually donate his old jackets to charity, but i'm gonna have to be thrifty this christmas and i was just wondering if i can use the material to make something that i can then give as presents??

i have no idea what i could do though - any thoughts???

Have you tried looking on www.craftster.org? They've got a whole subforum dedicated to recycling/recrafting stuff. I'm browsing it lots at the moment in order to keep Christmas affordable.

Off the top of my head I would think bags. Pinstripe would look smart and with the death of the carrier everyone needs more totes.
