Insomnia thread! Yay

Morning my fellow non sleepers.

So I get weird and quirky when I haven't slept. So prepare for sarcasm and down right oddness, I was awake at 1am tonight it's now 3:10am I've woken up because of heartburn little devil that it is, baby's active as hell and after a full day of twinges aches and period like pains I am now wide awake and it's not fecking fun. Anyone else wide awake and not getting any sleep? Xxx

I'm wide awake. Think mine is nerves and excitement though rather than a pregnancy ailment I think!! Hubby is snoring away next to me and my mind is just in overdrive. I suppose it is baby related though!! Hope you've got some rest now, insomnia is always fine for me until the next day' xxxxx

Me too, baby gave me a massive boot and made me jump which made me wake up the dogs so they went out for a wee and now wide awake. The BF is on nights so we're star fishing but can't get comfy x

Been up for about an hour now. Fromm 11pm to now i have had to get up to pee 6 times!!!! Will definately not miss this part when pregnancy is over! Oh is up for work any min now so hopefully il get some more shut eye when i can take over the bed haha xx

Good plan MummyBee. Is it wrong lying here and thinking of cake. A slab of moist Victoria sponge would do the trick, jammy and creamy. I've not been able to stop eating this past week or so, I'll put another stone on before baby arrives at this rate. Showing promise - that's exciting, is this the start of it or has it been happening a while? x

My tummy is rumbling id quite like some toast but im too lazy to move and get it haha. Still hoping im just going to doze off!

Decided to hold off on breakfast, got to fast from 8am and if I peak too early I'll be chewing my arm off this afternoon!!
The cake talk has made me fancy scones!!!

Ha how odd I was up at 4am too as my daughter decided that was a good time to wakeup so we ended up laying on sofa for ages until she finally nodded off again around 5

Yummy cake talk! I am making a banofee pie today, cannot wait to get my jaws round it haha. When this baby is born I will have to eat pure salad for months I think as I certainly not been eating as well as normal for a while now, too many sugar cravings! x

Oh wow light contractions?! Exciting yeah? Hehe I've had a small amount of liquid leak today which I know is cm as the Dr said if my waters go it's gonna be a lot so just sitting on my birthing ball chilling I feel hungover that's the best way to describe it but I'm still awake and not feeling crappy yet haha. Will keep you updated if I have anymore liquid leakage they said it's fine for baby to come now so I feel better about it and my period type pains are coming again ftm so never had contractions or anything before is it my cervix dilating? I dunno haha xxx

They have slowed a bit now but still every 10 mins or so - they were every 3 mins at one point and a bit painful, so very exciting. My hubby was hilarious, he didn't quite know what to do with himself and was flapping about

Haha aww bless him! It's exciting I'm almost 36 weeks and though the midwife wants me to be further on but she said it was okay for him to come now which helped calm me a bit. It's just this awful nagging period type aches it feels horrible and I feel like shit excuse language. Xxx

Up and down last night again! Iv had such a sore shoulder blade lately and as if getting comfortable wasnt hard enough this isnt making things easier. Me and Oh dtd last night and by 1am i was up with really horrible back and tummy cramps. Kept me up till about 3 then i managed to doze of again. Completely gone this morning tho. Not to sure whether to be glad or not haha! Xx

I have been the same tummy is telling me food and my dogs have been getting me up every few hours and it's really annoying me. Also got a friend staying over and I'm happy but she brought her dog and ours won't settle its really really getting me to the point of pissed off xxx
