infor on luteal phase?

hello girls..

can anyone tell me if my lp is long enough? i was expectin my AF on 7th feb which would been a 30 day cycle but it came 4 days early which makes it 26 days... i ov'd on 24th jan ( which would be cd18 ) and then came on 3rd feb so does that make my lp 9 days? i'm really confused cos thats not long enough..

i have had 3 kids already and i read that a womans lp doesnt change so i really dont understand it..i have bought some opk's to use this month but any advice on this would be great, my usual cycle length is 27/28 days, it was just last month i had 30 days i think..

If you've had 3 kids already I wouldn't worry too much. A luteal phase of less than 10 days can cause problems as there may not be enough time for the lining of the uterus to build up, but if your AF was 4 days early that does suggest that it's not usually that short - and not all people with shorter LPs have issues (I assume the lining builds up faster in some than others) x
