Iv noticed my luteal phase is actually 8 days!
I read vitamin b6 is good to lengthen the LP. Any thoughts?
Any idea how much should be taken??

I think that you need to go and speak to your doctor about it.

There could be a reason for your short luteal phase that could cause other issues with ttc and maybe even pregnancy.

Taking a suppliment might be a temporary solution but won't actually help you overcome the source of the problem.

Apparently B6 can be quite dangerous and cause nerve damage in too high a dosage.

200mg is the daily maximum but i think it would be risky to go much over 50mg personally.

Also, you are supposed to take B6 in equal amounts to other B vitamins.

So yeah, like i said, best to get medical guidance :)

Is having a short lutel phase bad? I think mine since I miscarried has been 9 maybe 10?

Yeah Jelly, if your LP is less than 10 days then the lining of the uterus will already be starting to break down when the embryo will be trying to implant so it will make it very difficult :(

I'd suggest using OPKs just to make sure you know when you ovulating because you start worrying about your luteal phase though - i don't know if you already use them?

Iv been temping for couple of months, that how I knew I ovulated day 18 of cycle 27/28

Thanks Louise I didn't know this :O I don't use OPK's I was judgeing by my CM because it started being wet, strechy etc 3 days ago xx

Maybe it's something for you to think about for next cycle then Jelly, you don't have to do it all the time, just one cycle to see if you have something to worry about or not :)
