I think its a lovely idea, i lost my baby in December, it was the most traumatic experience i have been through and i had a small flower tattooed on my shoulder in memory of my baby.

I also have to say to Budge that although everybody is entitled to their opinion i think your words of 'i hate tattoos, no tattoos are in good taste' and the fact that you even put an emoticons of :puke: is to me very hurtful and disrespectful to people including myself who get comfort from a personal memory of their lost babys.

Mary70 again i find your comments hurtful as you also say you hate tattoos and there are better ways to remember a baby, think of all the woman who do remember their babys this way and how much it means to them! I dont think your comments help

the author of this thread asked for a bad taste / good taste vote.
i marely answered her as honestly as i could. :)

first of all i have to say breezee1984 that was out of order, i know youve been through alot but there was no need to make happy_chick feel like that, shes had a hard time too. Why should she be made to feel guilty And jiesta like budge said she asked for a good taste or bad taste answer, i love tatoos but i dont feel hurt by budges comment like she said it is merely her opinion so y get angry bout it :)

what does everyone think about my tree/shrub idea? :D

yeah i like that idea, we have got a little tree of my nana she passed away a long time ago

i thought personal messages were suppose to be personal, but apparantly they are posted as propaganda and trying to make others have preconcieved notions....sorry but THATS uncalled for....personal messages are nobody elses business

Mel&hope im not quite sure why you felt the need to add a reply to me!? I addressed budge with what i thought, budge answered me with her reply, all good then you come in and answer for budge!! I wasn't angry about the comments just a bit upset that my memory of my baby was dismissed as :puke: . When i replied it was maybe in the heat of the moment and high emotions but angry wasn't one of them just hurt where its still all raw. There was no need for you to add your little piece!

*sigh* i dont like arguing, from me or anyone else..i wanted his thread to be more uplifting than this

Breezee you sincerely hurt me & I dont see why u have the right to do that in private OR public!

Look im not going to argue with you, did it say any where in the post that you didnt want anyone to respond to the post you made about budge? no it didnt think so i am not appologising for what i said. Breezee, i just wanted to say that i think having a tatoo in memory if your baby is a great idea, i have 7 and although only 1 has meaning i love em all

Hello everyone ;)

Lets try and get back onto topic, if anyone has any concerns over the issues raised here, feel free to pm me.

I think tattoos are great, my friend whose baby died recently has just have one done in Alfie's memory, I think it's lovely.

She had a gerbera (the flowers which were the theme for his christening and her favourties) and his name. His dad also had a tattoo done of all 3 boys names.
